Join us for an evening with Dr. Emily Knox, author of Book Banning in 21st-Century America (2015) and Foundations of Intellectual Freedom (2022).
Dr. Knox, an associate professor in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, serves on the board of the National Coalition Against Censorship. She is also the editor of the Journal of Intellectual Freedom and Privacy.
Please join us for this important discussion about the rise in book bannings across the country as part of Central Illinois Reads: Freedom to Read. Dr. Knox will present, followed by a Q&A session.
