Purpose of Meeting
Walk, Bike, Ride Greater Peoria: Paving the Way to Just Transportation is an active transportation plan that seeks to expand on the work done by TCRPC’s BikeConnect HOI plan. TCRPC’s BikeConnect solely focused on bicycle transportation and improving bicycle infrastructure in the region. Walk, Bike, Ride Greater Peoria seeks to improve the Greater Peoria transportation system by including the needs of pedestrians and transit users. By expanding the scope the intent is to make the transportation system more equitable to increase the quality of life for the users of all modes of transportation.
